It’s time to elect your benefits for next year

The Annual Enrollment period is your opportunity to review and make changes to your benefits for 2027. When you log in to Benefits Connect, you can:

  • review the benefits available to you, including any new benefits your employer may offer for 2027, your costs for coverage, and any cost-sharing with your employer
  • add eligible family members or remove them from coverage
  • enroll for benefits and/or make changes to your coverage for 2027
  • review and update your beneficiaries

The benefits available during Annual Enrollment reflect the benefits your employer will offer you for 2027. After reviewing and making your elections, please submit your Annual Enrollment in Benefits Connect.

After the Annual Enrollment period ends, you won’t have another chance to elect benefits or make changes for 2027 unless you have a qualifying life event, such as becoming a parent or getting married.

Support for your Annual Enrollment

If you need assistance with Benefits Connect or completing your Annual Enrollment, call the Board at 800-PRESPLAN (800-773-7752) (TTY: 711) and a service representative will be happy to assist you.

As you complete your Annual Enrollment, if the benefits options available to you, or the costs, are not what you expected, discuss them with your employer. If your employer would like to make any changes to the benefits they offer, they must call the Board.

Complete Call to Health — and reduce your medical deductible

Friday, Nov. 6, is also the deadline for Medical Plan* members to complete Call to Health and earn reduced medical deductible(s) for 2027. If you haven’t completed Call to Health, log in to calltohealth.org and complete the required steps.

Learn more about completing Call to Health.

*Call to Health is not available to employees or spouses enrolled in Triple-S, Global Solutions (formerly GeoBlue), or the Post-Retirement Medical Plan.

2027 benefits updates

As you consider your benefits elections for 2027, please note these updates, effective Jan. 1, 2027, for the Long-Term Disability Plan and the Vision Plan, if offered by your employer.

Long-Term Disability Plan

For 2027, employers can choose to offer the Long-Term Disability Plan on an employee-paid basis. Previously, this benefit could only be offered on an employer-paid basis.

If your employer is offering the Long-Term Disability Plan to you for 2027, they may have chosen the employee-paid option. If you pay for the coverage, any long-term disability benefits are tax free when paid to you.

Vision Plan rates

Monthly coverage costs for the Vision Plan for 2027 have increased:

  • Member-only: $6.67
  • Member + Spouse: $13.17
  • Member + Child(ren): $14.01
  • Member + Family: $22.48

If your employer has offered the Vision Plan to you, they may have chosen to contribute toward some or all of the cost. You will review any cost-sharing with your employer when you complete your Annual Enrollment.
