Patricia M. Haines is Executive Vice President and Chief Benefits Officer at the Board of Pensions. Pat joined the Board as Senior Vice President, Benefits, in 2007, bringing significant professional experience in the employee benefits field from prior roles in benefits management and consulting.
Pat leads the Benefits team, which has responsibility for the design, administration, and funding of the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), including the Retirement Programs, Financial Protection Programs, and Health Programs. Her strategic approach to benefits management includes a focused alignment of the Board’s values with the design of each program and plan it offers on behalf of the Church.
With a careerlong focus on healthcare, Pat manages significant relationships between the Board and its third-party benefits administrators. She serves as a member of the Client Advisory Boards of several of these vendor partners. Active in the Church Benefits Association (CBA), Pat and members of her team hold leadership roles in several purchasing coalitions, responsible for negotiating and securing high-value contracts with service providers.
Pat has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health, leading subcommittees dealing with issues of healthcare-provider quality and transparency. She is an active member of the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions, National Business Group on Health, and American Benefits Council.
Todd Ingves is Vice President, Health and Well-Being, at the Board of Pensions. He has over three decades of experience at the Board, serving in leadership roles across the organization, from service delivery to technology implementation to benefits design and funding.
In his current role, Todd is committed to offering high-value health benefits that meet the needs of both members and participating employers as they navigate an increasingly complex and challenging healthcare environment.
Todd is an active participant in the Church Benefits Association (CBA) and currently serves as chair of the Highmark CBA Coalition and co-chair of the CBA Pharmacy Benefit Manager Coalition where he represents not only the Board’s interests, but those of all participating church plans and the members they serve.
