Retirement Savings Plan investment options
The Board of Pensions' in-house Investments team has curated a portfolio of fund options through Fidelity Investments to best meet the retirement savings goals of our members.
The Retirement Savings Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) offers a variety of investment options through Fidelity Investments so participants can build diverse portfolios and comfortably invest in funds that best meet their specific goals. Options span the risk spectrum and include a fossil fuel-free global fund and socially responsible options based on the guidelines of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Expertly curated portfolio
The Board of Pensions’ in-house Investments team has curated this portfolio of investment options to best meet the goals of Retirement Savings Plan participants, with competitive fees and funds with proven performance track records to offer long-term advantages.
Participants may invest in any of the available funds in one percent increments and can change investment elections at any time.
Following are the available fund options:
- Fidelity Investments Money Market Government Portfolio — Institutional Class (FRGXX): invests at least 99.5 percent of assets in cash, U.S. Government securities, and/or repurchase agreements.
- Fidelity U.S. Bond Index Fund (FXNAX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in bonds included in the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index.
- PC(USA) Socially Responsible Balanced Fund: invests in the PC(USA) Socially Responsible U.S. Equity Portfolio, a socially screened equity portfolio benchmarked to the Russell 3000 Index, and the Fidelity Intermediate Treasury Bond Index Fund —Premium Class; invests in both stocks and bonds.
- PC(USA) Socially Responsible U.S. Equity Fund: invests in the PC(USA) Socially Responsible U.S. Equity Portfolio, a socially screened equity portfolio benchmarked to the Russell 3000 Index; invests primarily in stocks.
- Fidelity 500 Index Fund (FXAIX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in stocks included on the S&P 500 Index.
- T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund (PRFDX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in common stocks, with an emphasis on large-capitalization stocks that have a strong track record of paying dividends or that are believed to be undervalued.
- Fidelity Growth Company Fund — Class K (FGCKX): invests primarily in domestic and foreign stocks that Fidelity Management & Research Company believes offer the potential for above-average growth.
- Fidelity Extended Market Index Fund (FSMAX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in stocks in the Dow Jones U.S. Completion Total Stock Market Index, representing mid- to small-capitalization U.S. companies.
- Fidelity Global ex U.S. Index Fund (FSGGX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in securities included in the MSCI All Country World ex USA Index.
- Fidelity Diversified International Fund — Class K (FDIKX): invests primarily in non-U.S. securities.
- Pax Global Environmental Markets Fund — Institutional Class (PGINX): invests at least 80 percent in companies whose businesses and technologies focus on environmental markets, including alternative energy and energy efficiency; water infrastructure technologies and pollution control; environmental support services and waste management technologies; and sustainable food, agriculture, and forestry.
- Fidelity Real Estate Investment Portfolio (FRESX): invests at least 80 percent of assets in securities of companies principally engaged in the real estate industry and other real estate related investments.
- Fidelity Freedom Index Funds (FIKFX): each fund invests based on the participant’s anticipated year of retirement.
