The Vision Plan gives employees the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars every year on the cost of eyeglasses, contacts, lens enhancements, and more. The plan also covers an annual routine eye exam to help support vision health.
Annual eye exams and proper, up-to-date vision eyewear contribute to good vision health. As one of the ways in which we help to support the well-being of employees, the Board of Pensions partners with VSP to offer the Vision Plan to employers of any size, at little or no cost to your organization. The Vision Plan covers an annual routine eye exam and gives employees the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars every year on eyewear.

The Vision Plan is a cost-effective way for you as an employer to maximize your benefits offerings. And there is no hourly work requirement for employees to participate, so you can offer it to any employee, regardless of the number of hours they work.
The following are the current monthly Vision Plan costs. When you decide to offer the Vision Plan to your employees, you may, but are not required to, contribute toward the cost of the coverage.
For example, if you choose to contribute 50% toward the cost of Member + Family vision coverage, you and the employee would each pay $6.56 per month, for a total of $13.12 per month.

VSP is a national leader in vision and eye care benefits. It has the largest network of independent vision care providers, so those with coverage can more easily find a provider convenient to them. The network is also supported by large retail chains, including Visionworks, Walmart, Sam's Club, and Costco.
