Employee Assistance Plan

The Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) is a confidential resource provided at no cost to employees enrolled in medical coverage through the Board of Pensions or the Pastor's Participation or Minister's Choice benefits package. Through the EAP, employees have access to counseling sessions, financial and legal assistance, resources for child and elder care, and more.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Spring Health will replace Cigna as the EAP provider. Read more about the EAP in 2025.

Eligibility

You, your eligible family members, and anyone living in your household can access the EAP 24/7. Call 866-640-2772 or log on to the Cigna website (one-time registration required). EAP services are confidential; there’s no cost to you or anyone in your household.

The EAP is a valuable benefit provided at no cost to employees enrolled in any of the three medical options (PPO, EPO, or HDHP), Pastor's Participation, or Minister's Choice. Employers also have access to the EAP for support and guidance for workplace issues. The Board of Pensions partners with Cigna to provide this confidential resource as part of our commitment to wholeness and well-being.
