This webinar was an informational session designed to guide benefits decision-makers and administrators — including treasurers, personnel committee members, ministers, pastoral nominating committees, and members of Committees on Ministry — as they prepare to submit Employer Agreements for 2024.


During the 2023 Serve Better Webinar, held via Zoom, Board of Pensions leaders addressed the following topics:

  • Yvette Russell, Vice President, Customer Engagement, discussed the process and timing for completing your church's 2024 Employer Agreement and plans to update Benefits Connect.
  • Pat Haines, Executive Vice President and Chief Benefits Officer, offered insights into the benefits landscape for church employers for 2024 and trends that will influence the future of the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
  • Andy Browne, Executive Vice President, provided an overview of the Board’s work to assess and restructure the Benefits Plan for 2025 during our season of rebuilding.
