Discover a new Call to Health experience

December 01, 2022

With the start of a new program year, Call to Health offers new activities that focus on wholeness, along with a fresh look for the website and a new mobile app that provides a more intuitive experience.

A new program year of Call to Health* is underway! Once again, employees with medical coverage through the Board of Pensions can qualify for reduced medical deductibles for themselves and their covered family members, and earn Tango gift cards, while taking steps to build lifelong healthy habits. This year, participants can look forward to a more personalized experience than ever before, with an enhanced website and a new mobile app that makes it easy to answer the call on the go.

Here’s how to get started using the website or new app. Once logged on, click Discover new activities or the Discover tab at the top of the page to find and join Call to Health activities. The page consists of the following sections. (Click the arrows on either side of the carousel to view all the activities in that section.)

  • Featured Call to Health activities, including required activities (Take the Well-Being Assessment and Get Your Preventive Exam) and others with special emphasis on a particular topic or season.
  • Activities recommended by the Board of Pensions that focus on all dimensions of wholeness: spiritual, health, financial, and vocational. Current activities include Environmental Hacks to Bypass Stress, Perform Random Acts of Kindness, and Use Your Desk as a Workout Zone, to name a few.
  • Top Picks, which are special My Choice activities based on past participation. My Choice activities offer another way to work toward goals and earn Call to Health points. Participants can earn up to 500 points by completing My Choice activities.
  • Additional My Choice activities based on Well-Being Assessment results. For example, you may see activities to help with managing stress and anxiety, financial well-being, or self-care, depending on your results.
  • A Trending Now section shows some of the most popular activities others are participating in.

To join activities, click on the activity tile and then click GET STARTED. After joining an activity, it will move to your homepage under My Activities. The homepage is also where you can review posts on the Call to Health News Channel and see how many points you have earned.

Get started today by logging on to the Call to Health website or mobile app. Then make it a daily practice to log on, track your progress, and discover what’s new.

*Call to Health is available to employees and their spouses with medical coverage through the Board of Pensions; it is not available to members enrolled in Triple-S, GeoBlue, or the Medicare Supplement Plan.
