Using your prescription drug benefits

You can access your prescription drug benefits by using your Express Scripts ID card to fill prescriptions at participating retail pharmacies or, for the greatest possible savings, by using Express Scripts Pharmacy home delivery service.

Use your local participating pharmacy to fill short-term prescriptions (up to a 30-day supply), and, if you choose, long-term prescriptions as well. Present your Express Scripts ID card to take advantage of reduced network rates.

To find participating pharmacies, register and log on to the Express Scripts website or call Express Scripts at 800-344-3896. You may also call Quantum Health at 855-497-1237 for personalized assistance.

If you fill a prescription at an out-of-network pharmacy, you must pay the entire cost for the medication and then submit a claim to Express Scripts for reimbursement. Claim forms are available on the Express Scripts website. You may also call Quantum Health to request a form.

To file claims

  • log on to the Express Scripts website;
  • click Forms from the menu under Benefits;
  • click the Start a Claim button under Request Reimbursement; then
  • click Get Started and follow the prompts to upload your receipts and submit your claim.

You can also print and mail copies of your claim form and receipts to Express Scripts. Log on to the Express Scripts website for forms and instructions. You may also call Quantum Health at 855-497-1237 for personalized assistance.

Using mail order

You can get a 90-day supply of your medication through Express Scripts Pharmacy home delivery service for less than you would pay at a retail pharmacy. To use the mail-order service, do either of the following:

  • Have your doctor e-prescribe or fax the prescription to Express Scripts.
  • Mail the written prescription(s) from your doctor along with the required copayment in the envelope provided with your welcome package from Express Scripts. Forms are also available at express-scripts.com.

Medications are shipped via standard service at no cost to you. Express shipping is also available for an additional fee. You can also set up auto refill and auto renewal of your prescriptions at the Express Scripts website.

You may also call Quantum Health at 855-497-1237 for assistance with using mail order.
