Your medical coverage costs depend on several factors, including which coverage level you choose and how much your employer contributes to the cost.
When you elect medical coverage, the monthly cost of coverage is expressed in flat dollar amounts by coverage level: Member-only, Member + Spouse, Member + Child(ren), or Member + Family.
If you’re enrolled in the Congregational Pastors Package, Member-only PPO medical coverage is included at no cost to you. Your employer pays the full cost.
Medical coverage for spouses and children may be offered and your employer may choose to pay all, some, or none of the cost.
If you’re a minister enrolled in Transitional Pastor’s Participation, full family PPO medical coverage is included at no cost to you. Your employer pays the full cost.
In addition to the monthly cost of coverage, you share in the cost of medical care and treatment you receive through deductibles, copays, and coinsurance, which differ under each option. For more information, see Medical Plan Highlights 2024/2025 for your medical option (PPO, EPO, or HDHP).
