How to change an authorization for direct deposit


To protect the security of financial information for those receiving benefit payments from the Board of Pensions, we no longer accept changes to banking information for direct deposit by mail or email from those who have access to Benefits Connect.

Please log into Benefits Connect and follow the instructions below to set up or change banking information for the direct deposit of benefit payments.

  1. From your Benefits Connect home page, select the Pension Benefits tile.
  2. On the Pension Benefits page, select  Payment Maintenance, then select the blue underlined payment type.
  3. On the Payment Details page, select Payment Method, then select the blue Update button.
  4. Enter your banking information and be sure to select the blue Save button.
