Third Act Seminar & Luncheon

Third Act is a complimentary luncheon and seminar focusing on a particular aspect of wholeness in retirement.

The journey toward wholeness lasts one's entire life — even, or perhaps especially, in retirement. The Third Act Seminar & Luncheon focuses on a different theme each year related to that journey.

At this seminar, you can:

  • gather insights into topics relevant to the third act of your life
  • receive benefits updates from your Church Consultant
  • break bread and enjoy fellowship with retired colleagues

From Isolation to Belonging: Thriving through Connection

Retirement offers new freedom, but it can also bring unexpected shifts in daily connection. Without the familiar rhythms of work, social circles may shrink, increasing the risk of isolation.

In 2026, the Third Act Seminar & Luncheon invites retirees to explore what it means to thrive through meaningful relationships. Together, we will reflect on the importance of connection for overall well-being, and how our need for community evolves and often deepens during this stage of life. As part of our sharing, we will identify personal barriers to connection and discover practical, life-giving ways to build and nurture relationships through companionship, intimacy, and shared interests. Grounded in research and collective wisdom, the seminar will encourage participants to move beyond isolation and reimagine our bonds as a source of purpose, joy, and vitality.
