Dr. Leonel Mesa Jr. is a licensed therapist with more than 30 years of experience. He graduated from Florida International University and Carlos Albizu University, where he earned master’s and doctorate degrees in psychology. Dr. Leo specializes in addiction; domestic and workplace violence; marriage and family counseling; stress and leadership management; and fatherhood. His dynamic and motivational approach to discussions around mental health is encapsulated by his personal motto: “Always connect, never neglect.”
